Scanned Text Editor 1.0

Edit any scanned document without loosing anything. Layout and quality will remain as in the original document. The program will NOT try to recognize the text, instead it will free the characters and pictures from the background and place it as free moveable objects over the background.

rethink the $

Just that...lower the price and give more explination of what it does and how it is supposed to benefit the computing world.

Allow it to save in a non-propriatary format.

.sca files are not a normal file type for my computer, and appears to be unique to this program.

Improve the help file. A three point instruction is not enough to make full use of the software.

The help file included is not enough to make use of the software for the average user. Yes, there is a link to a video but for those who cannot access the video offline, or may have sight issues (and this software could be of great use to those...

add information in regards to the registration status in the 'about' pull down menue. After registering any software the first thing I do is look for the registration confirmation on the program itself which is usually with the 'about' pull down men

I tried on win XP Home and on Win 7 starter. Same problems on both. 1. I could not rotate image 2. I could not open help file 3. I could not open pdf files for editing

Fix the undo feature

Pressing Ctrl+Z twice when you only did one action sometimes leads to a spree of access violations.

Add a File, Close menu item to make it easier to move from one image to the next when there are multiple images to work with.

It is a bit unclear at first that saving is *.sca, that one needs to export the file, and then either select a new file where it will ask if you want to save (.sca) Intuitively, Save suggests the image, and an Image Close menu item would clarify....

Put your demo video into a format that I don't have to download to view.

And fix this "We have developed software since since 1996." Too many steps to take to view the video for a simple demo.

Make sure it runs under an OS if you are going to say it does

It doesn't run under Win 7 Home Premium x64. It comes up with the error message 'Access violation at address 100AlU51 in module 'GrafikRW2.dll'. Write of address 00000000. The message appears regardless of whether you open a picture or try to scan...

When you rezise it, the prewiev dosent rezise. If you try to open an ordinary picture file, you get a lot of erreo messages.s

Definately improve the help! Before you try to charge $75. This program working smoothly with good help and a few other advances will be worth $75, maybe more. But currently it is beta, though you don't say so. You have much work to do. More and bett

One more thing, already touched on, is the undo function. Allow multiple step undo and redo.
